The EPCOR Centre for Performing Arts was completed in 1985 and includes the 2,000-seat Jack Singer Concert Hall (the first purpose-built concert hall in Western Canada), the 750-seat Max Bell Theatre, and the 450-seat Martha Cohen Theatre. The concert hall possesses outstanding acoustics for symphony and a wide range of musical performances. The hall has a flexible platform stage which is used for varied programming.
