At Stratford East, in London's East End, the creation of the Stratford Circus creates a notable centre for the performing arts in this once culturally deprived part of London.

One of the main aims of this new community-oriented Arts Centre is to provide for the local ethnic community and young people. To this end, this state-of-the-art purpose-built facility was designed, where new technologies and multi-media projects are pioneered. Over 2,000 annual events are programmed, from dance, drama and comedy to classes and workshops. There are up to ten events a day across five performance spaces. A cafĂ©, two bars, a multi-media suite and meeting rooms complete the Arts Centre.
