Flexibility is the key to this multiform concert hall. The hall will present traditional opera, chamber music, and experimental operas and musical performances. The flexibility of the room's configuration can adapt to suit the performance, so there is always a sense of intimacy between performers and audience members.

An operational concept is currently being worked out by Lucerne Theatre, the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, and the Lucerne School of Music.
