This new arts center is an icon for both Kansas City and the architectural world. The 285,000 square foot center includes the 1,800-seat Muriel McBrien Kauffman Theatre for opera, musical, and dance productions, and the 1,600-seat Helzberg Hall for symphonic concerts. The two halls are extremely intimate for both audience and performers. Theatre patrons are welcomed to the center in the glass-enclosed Brandmeyer Great Hall which serves both venues.
