Located at Navy Pier on Lake Michigan, this new theatre for the Chicago Shakespeare Theater Company contains a courtyard theatre with a 350-seat thrust stage backed up by a stage house and staging areas. Features include a fully-trapped stage and a stage entrance located in the rear of the auditorium. Proclaimed by Sir Peter Hall, founder of England's Royal Shakespeare Company, to be one of the best Elizabethan-style theatres in the world
