As part of the renovation of the 1932 Kenyon Hall, a former swimming pool has been transformed into a 244-seat theatre, the first performance space at Vassar College dedicated solely to dance. The rehabilitated space features a 36' by 36' fully-sprung dance floor with surrounding wing space, raked seating, lighting and sound systems. The original windows were retained and blackout shades provided for daytime performances. Additional spaces for Vassar College's Dance Department were also created within the renovated Kenyon Hall, including three dance studios, faculty offices, and a conference room.
