Designed in collaboration with Steppenwolf designer Kevin Rigdon, this two-level, 500-seat theatre is modeled on the classic American playhouse with a single balcony and side boxes stepping down toward the apron stage. The rough-hewn concrete and steel interior echoes the raw, gritty nature of the acting company's work.
