New York University, Tisch School of the Arts

Theatre Projects is working with Polshek Partnership on a major programming and master planning effort for the Institute of Performing Arts at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. The masterplan will involve two properties now occupied by Tisch - 721 Broadway and 111 2nd Avenue - and a rehabbed building at Lafayette and 4th Avenue, the first of the three projects to be undertaken. The goals of the project are to relocate programs to university-owned space, reallocate and improve facilities both qualitatively and quantitatively, and improve the sense of identity and cohesiveness of the Institute. The new spaces will include multiple graduate and undergraduate performance venues. Theatre Projects has been involved with the masterplan and the programming and concept design for the facilities.
