Steven is responsible for the design and specification of stage lighting systems. His work includes the design and layout of lighting positions, design and distribution of dimming and control systems, and equipment selection and specification. He also works with defining power requirements for performance equipment, developing cable management systems, and the design and layout of concert lighting.
Steven has collaborated on theatre designs since 1996, managing projects for Sachs Morgan Studio at the Granada Theatre, the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theatre, and the Mark Taper Forum. He also collaborated on the award winning architectural lighting designs for Dodgers Stages and for Temple Emanu-El.
Prior to theatre consulting, Steven worked as production stage manager with Columbia Artists Management touring dance companies including the Bolshoi Ballet, National Ballet of China, and Paris Opera Ballet Ensemble. He is a member of USITT, IATSE United Scenic Artists Local 829 and holds a Lighting Certification from the NCQLP.
