David specializes in preliminary planning and feasibility studies for arts venues. He helps clients develop a comprehensive brief for their project that successfully addresses the needs of the client, users, and community. David also advises on the selection of architects and specialist consultants, preliminary performance equipment programs, and organizational structure and management.

Prior to joining Theatre Projects, David worked in several professional theatres in the UK as part of an administrative training scheme organized by the Arts Council of Great Britain. He joined us in 1974 and was subsequently based in the Middle East for several years, with responsibility for the company’s operations in the region. David is managing director of our UK office and continues to be actively involved in major projects throughout the world.

David holds qualifications in business studies and management. David is a member and former chairman of the Society of Theatre Consultants, a member of the Association of British Theatre Technicians, and a member and board member of the International Society of Performing Arts.
