Findlay Ross

Findlay is a director of our UK company and is based in Lille, France. He is a trained architect, with over 15 years of experience designing and planning cultural buildings. As one of our project leaders, his multifaceted skill set allows him to effectively coordinate projects with our clients, design teams, and contractors through all stages of the project – from inception to completion.

Educated in Edinburgh, Findlay then went on to work at various architectural practices in the UK and France, including Atelier d'Architecture et de Scénographie Gérard Frisque, where he headed the design team and oversaw several theatre projects including the Salle Ballavoine in Arques, the Saint Amand les Eaux cultural center, the municipal theatre in Saint Omer, and the Théâtre du Prato in Lille.

While at the Edinburgh College of Art, Findlay studied at the Ecole d'Architecture in Paris Belleville for a semester under an Erasmus scheme. He has been awarded a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Diploma in Architecture from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh. He teaches at the Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Architecture et de Paysage de Lille where he’s been a Maître Assistant Associé since 2005.
