Brian Hall
Principal Theatre Designer
US Office

Brian is the principal theatre designer in our US office. He is an architect experienced in both the development and construction of arts facilities—including theatre planning, programming, and concept design. Brian has been associated with Theatre Projects since 1988 and was a director from 1993 to 2006. Over the years, he has been involved with many of our significant projects.

Before joining Theatre Projects, Brian was a partner with Arcop Associates in Toronto. While there, he worked closely with the late Fred Lebensold (designer of the National Arts Centre in Ottawa and the Place des Arts in Montreal). Brian played a major role in the development and design of many of Arcop’s performance projects, including the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Centre, the City Centre Theatre Renovation in New York City, and the Herberger Theatre Centre in Phoenix.

Brian received his Diploma of Architecture from Northern Polytechnic in England. He is a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
