On April 16, 2009, the last tube on the exterior of the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts was put in place. The exterior of the building is made up of 466 aluminum tubes suspended vertically from the top of the 10-story building.

The Wyly Theatre will celebrate its official opening in October 2009.
